Transport General Authority Certification (Saudi Arabia)

DSCO has undergone a rigorous certification process to be approved by the Transport General Authority (TGA) in Saudi Arabia. This certification allows us to participate in a new regulatory initiative designed to enhance safety, compliance, efficiency, and optimization for transportation companies across the Kingdom. Under this initiative, all transportation companies with heavy vehicles are required to install mobile asset tracking systems capable of providing on-board weighing with over 90% accuracy, integrated with the WASL Platform.

The project aims to modernize the cargo transportation sector by equipping trucks with tracking solutions that enable the TGA to remotely monitor critical parameters such as location, speed, and weight overload. As stipulated by the decree issued in April 2019, all trucks must be equipped with GPS tracking and weight sensor mechanisms to detect unauthorized weight and take proactive steps to minimize the infrastructure damage caused by heavy vehicles.

Our offering includes the latest in telematics, IoT, and a powerful reporting platform for On-Board Truck Weighing Systems. These solutions are crafted to improve fleet efficiency, optimize operations, and enhance safety and compliance.

The TGA’s regulation aims to streamline freight transport by improving driver and operational standards, increasing the operational efficiency of trucks, and raising road safety levels. Additionally, it aims to protect the environment, foster healthy competition among service providers, and regulate contracting relationships to ensure high-quality services within the sector.
DSCO is also an approved and certified vendor by the Transport General Authority (TGA) in Saudi Arabia for activities related to car transportation, towing services, and buses (MVDR & cameras). This certification highlights DSCO’s commitment to regulatory compliance and quality standards in the transportation sector. By providing reliable tracking and monitoring solutions tailored to vehicle and equipment services, DSCO supports TGA’s mission to enhance safety, efficiency, and operational standards across the Kingdom’s transport industry.
